On-campus orientation classes are not offered. The web-based version of this resource is now available. Much of what is covered in the Orientation is also included in the Handbook for Online Students. If you register for the free Campus Edition class, this handbook will act as your textbook and you will be quizzed on it's contents.

What is a Technical Orientation?

The general orientation for online classes at Chemeketa has been developed by our Support Staff to provide a first look at how our systems work and to walk through some of the more common tasks you'll need to be familiar with while doing your class.

This is not mandatory, but is designed to help students who have never taken a Chemeketa Online course before. Registration is not necessary, but there may be a CRN that you can register for free that will provide you access to a WebCT practice course. See the Workshop Instructions page for the current CRN to use.
